Quarantine Motivation || Running Marathon Without Training

Can you run a marathon with no training? Well, this past weekend Eva challenged me to run the Los Angeles Marathon in less than 24 hour notice, so of course I had to do it. Even though the actual LA Marathon happened the week before we went into quarantine, who says you can't run a marathon whenever your heart desires... or at least whenever your girlfriend dares you to. Don't try this at home.

It's been a while since we last posted, as it has definitely been hard trying to find the time to balance work with shooting and editing videos! However, since the lockdowns, we finally had the time to edit this footage we shot back in January! Yes, you heard that right... JANUARY... so before you come for us in the comments about how we shouldn't be out right now, just know we are currently as cooped up as the rest of you! In this video we decided to do a couples workout challenge! We are both highly active but rarely exercise together, as we both tend to hate each others methods. Here, I get Eva to do a intense cardio soccer workout, while she tortures me on the Megaformer... a kind of extra intense form of Pilates strength training known as “The Lagree Method”. I hope you enjoy our pain and misery.

We have been working hard to assemble a new coaching team for TACFIT LA. Below is our new schedule that takes effect Monday April 17th. We are grateful for all of your support in our community and we look forward to growing together.

Coach Dustin, is a level one certified instructor and head coach of TACFIT Ventura. His kindness, understanding disposition and attentiveness provides an excellent and safe learning environment.

Coach Mayra, is a FlowFit certified instructor. Her calm and tranquil personality truly shines bright in our recovery focused flow classes.

Coach Andreya, is a level one TACFIT certified instructor. Her energy, enthusiasm and punctuality is unmatched. She is a life long time professional athlete, competing high level in Boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She provides challenging and motivational training.

Coach Erika, is a level one TACFIT certified instructor. Her bright spirit, attention to detail and over a decade of coaching gives students a fun and educational space for training.

Department Head, Coach Monika is a level one certified FlowFit, Clubbell and TACFIT instructor. She is currently in rigorous training for her level two instructor certification. She is extremely passionate about TACFIT and works hard to share and expand her passion with the TACFIT community. Coach Monika will be heading the TACFIT Los Angeles department. We are excited to watch her lead and guide the coaching team.
