Most people pull guard just to avoid getting taken down.

In this reel I'm showing several competition-tested guard pulls that flow directly into sweeps and put you on offense immediately.

These are some of the same concepts I teach in my Takedowns for BJJ instructional available now on BJJFanatics.com.

🥋 Want better guard pulls, sweeps, and transitions from standing to the ground? Check out Takedowns for BJJ on BJJ Fanatics.

🔥 My new Body Weight 4 BJJ program is currently in PRE-SALE and covers the mobility, movement, conditioning, and bodyweight training methods I've used for decades to stay strong, healthy, and competitive on the mats.

Train smarter. Pull with purpose. Sweep with confidence.

🔥 NAVY SEAL BURPEES 🔥

My first Jiu-Jitsu coach was a Navy SEAL, and this is one of the conditioning drills he taught me years ago.

It's called the 8-Count Bodybuilder.

Most people think it's just another burpee, but the added counts force you to move through multiple positions, spend more time under tension, and build serious conditioning.

Simple. Brutal. Effective.

This old-school military conditioning drill will challenge your legs, core, shoulders, chest, and lungs all at once. 💪

🏆 We use movements like this in Kettle-Jitsu because they build the kind of strength, endurance, and athleticism that carries over directly to the mats.

🔥 SATURDAY 10:00 AM KETTLE-JITSU BOOT CAMP 🔥

This was the finisher we used after a full session of mobility, ground mobility, bodyweight training, and movement prep. Before we ever touched the circuit, we practiced every individual movement that makes up the flow so everyone could move efficiently and safely.

🏋️ THRUSTER FLOW CIRCUIT ⏱️ 1 Minute Thruster Flow ⏱️ 30 Seconds Alternating Rows ⏱️ 30 Seconds Burpees

The Thruster Flow: ✅ 2 Squat & Presses ✅ 2 Swings ✅ Catch ✅ Repeat continuously for 1 minute

This is the kind of conditioning that builds strength, endurance, coordination, grip, and mental toughness—all qualities that carry directly over to the mats.

🎥 I'll post the full video tomorrow.

🚨 Kettle-Jitsu Certification announcement coming soon.

🥋 Turtle is one of the most common positions in BJJ—and one of the most overlooked.

In this Reel I show a simple back take drill you can flow side-to-side, a tight clock choke when they catch your outside leg, and a nasty reverse triangle when they catch your inside leg. 🔥

Want to improve your movement, conditioning, and BJJ fundamentals? My Body Weight 4 BJJ program is available now on presale.

💀 TURTLE CHOKES HIT DIFFERENT 💀

If your opponent turtles up thinking they’re safe… they’re already in trouble.

Guillotines, neck attacks, pressure chokes, and sneaky finishes from one of the most overlooked positions in Jiu-Jitsu. These are the details that make the difference between almost getting the tap… and actually finishing. 🔥

A lot of these concepts tie directly into my Body Weight 4 BJJ program — building movement, pressure, mobility, and transitions that carry over directly into live rolling.

Most people panic after a failed shot… but high-level Jiu-Jitsu is about chaining attacks and staying dangerous. 💥

In this reel I break down a few options you can hit IMMEDIATELY after your double leg gets stuffed:
➡️ Recover guard
➡️ Front headlock escapes
➡️ Stay offensive instead of getting stuck underneath

The transition game is what separates beginners from experienced grapplers. 👊

🔥 My Body Weight 4 BJJ program is still in PRE-SALE right now!
Functional movement, mobility, conditioning & BJJ-specific warm ups built for grapplers.
