Many of you know him as Coach Chris, and if you were lucky enough to be here during his time coaching at High Voltage, you knew that when you walked into the gym, you were met with infectious joy, support, and energy. Christopher had a way of pushing you without you even realizing you were being pushed to your next PR, and it was impossible not to have fun while building the core of what High Voltage is… community.

That energy wasn’t something he saved for the gym; it was just who he was. Christopher was a man of many talents, and one of his quieter ones was floral arranging. He was the flower man at Andrew’s and my wedding, and with the brand of flair only he could bring, he not only made it beautiful, but he made it fun. That was his gift: taking ordinary things, be it coaching a fitness class or arranging a bridal bouquet, and making them beautiful.

A memorial service will be held this Thursday, September 17th at 6:00 PM at Valley Memorial.

Our love and unending support go out to his wife, Nitza, and their family, friends, and loved ones during this devastating time.
