Countless hours in the gym and an unwavering work ethic have earned him every bit of his success. NPH!

Congrats to Burkburnett's Ayden White for being named Offensive Player of the Year on the inaugural Red River Elite boys basketball team, presented by Arrowhead Roofing, Siding, Gutters and Windows!

White is one of the best shooters this area has ever seen, and leaves Burkburnett as its all-time leading scorer. He also made more 3-pointers than any Bulldog in history. And anyone who knows Burk basketball understands what both of those records mean! He averaged 24 points per game, making 163 3-pointers at a 41-percent clip as a senior!

Congrats to Burkburnett's Kingston Gould for being named Most Valuable Player of the inaugural Red River Elite boys basketball team, presented exclusively by Arrowhead Roofing, Siding, Gutters and Windows!

Gould has lived up to the lofty expectations that followed him into high school, scoring 1,075 points during his sophomore season! He's considered one of the top 50 players in his class nationally, holding multiple Division I offers!

🏀 The Dogs finished 3-2 this weekend against some outstanding competition at the Summer State Tournament.

More important than the record was the growth we saw. The guys played for each other, communicated, trusted one another, and showed the relentless effort it takes to compete at a high level.

Well deserved! 🏀

Congratulations to recently retired BISD basketball coach James Moseley, who has been named a finalist for Texoma's Nexstar Sports Coach of the Year in the Large School Category! Coach Moseley is one of just three coaches selected from 4A and 5A schools for this prestigious honor. The winner will be announced on July 9 at the Texoma's Nexstar Sports Awards Ceremony.

Our Dunkin’ Dogs Basketball Camp was a huge success, with 80 future Dunkin’ Dogs participating! The energy throughout the week was incredible, and everyone had a great time improving their basketball skills, competing, and building relationships with teammates and coaches.

A huge thank you to all of the campers, parents, coaches, and volunteers who helped make this camp such a memorable experience. We would also like to extend a special thank you to Chicken Express and Mullins Concrete for sponsoring our camp shirts, and to Trevon Norman and the Serenity Foundation for providing a meal for all of our campers at the conclusion of camp. Your generosity helped make this week even more special for our kids.

The future is bright for Burkburnett Basketball, and we can’t wait to see these young athletes continue to grow both on and off the court.
