We are proud to announce that five staff members of our team have successfully earned their Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification through the National Recreation and Park Association.

Congratulations to Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Emma Andrus, Program Coordinator Jeff DiSalvo, Assistant Program Coordinator Andrew Mountain, Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation Kelly Lehman, and Director of Parks & Recreation Brendan Egan for completing the national certification exam and achieving this professional milestone.

The CPRP certification recognizes professionals who demonstrate the knowledge, experience, and commitment necessary to advance the parks and recreation field and provide high-quality services to the community. We are proud of the team’s dedication to professional development and continued excellence in serving Burlington residents.

A highlight of prom season was our annual Sneaker Prom! 👟🎶🎉✨

Participants in therapeutic recreation programs were invited to dress up in semi-formal attire accented by their favorite pair of sneakers for an evening of dinner and dancing with friends.

This year's event featured a DJ and photo booth thanks to the generous support of Town of Burlington Disability Access Commission!
