Things I’ve heard and seen at GROW this week:
💚”we should exchange numbers and start a group text for baby hangs”
💙 one mom bringing another mom coffee to class
💛”does anyone want to go to yoga on Sunday?”
💜”I’m going to sign up for the postpartum strength class, anyone else want to do that series with me”
🧡 a pregnant person setting up someone else space because they are running late to class.

These are such small things, and at the same time such massive things. These are things you hear and say when you are part of the Village and make the effort to build your community.

Been feeling pretty grateful. Not by the beautiful views, or perfect weather, but by how this community keeps showing up. As a small biz, yall are everything to us!

So while you might just be coming to class for some juicy hip openers or to in-shrimp your spine, we just need you to know that for us it means everything✨😘

The internet told me it was breastfeeding week, but I talk with new moms on the daily (and am one myself) who couldn’t breastfeed, who knew it wasn’t the best choice for their family, or who felt like a failure because they didn’t make their breastfeeding goals.

So I guess just saying it louder for the people in the back, I hope everyone feels so proud of how they feed their baby: exclusively breastfeeding, exclusively pumping, exclusively bottle feeding, and everything in between, it’s all so hard and it all deserves so much appreciation💚

Our Sunday yoga/fitness schedule looks really different than it normally does. We decided to cancel our other classes and gather all together in Waterbury (yay Waterburyyyy!) for our pop-up yoga class with Green Mountain Birth Center. The GROW community, more than most, understands the importance of birth centers, so we hope you join us in celebrating the creation of a new one coming to our community! Register for class on the GROW Village. Donate based for non-members. Members your membership makes it possible for us to do these types of events so additional donation is not required if that feels like too much!
Class is 9-10 with coffee, chatter, and some snacks to follow. Playground (and skatepark for the sendy ones) on site, so make it a family day!

GROW's mission is to help support families during pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond. So when we hear about a new birth center opening up in our community, we get really excited.

& the more we have learned about what hopes to bring to our community, the more excited we get. Knowing that their goal is supporting girls and women through all life stages, makes this space feel extra special. Girl mamas, cue teary eyes because this is for them, too! 🥹

We want to help spread the word, raise money, and celebrate this exciting next chapter for birth support in our community. Join us this Sunday for a community yoga class (prenatal friendly, babes welcome of course!) outside in Waterbury Center! All are welcome, completely donation based!

We often hear about birth centers closing, so when we hear of one trying to open, we act. And we hope you will join us!

We are collaborating with Green Mountain Birth Center to host a pop-up yoga class on August 9th in Waterbury Center (YAY Washington County people this is for youuu!)
