1. set up your bedroom for restful sleep
2. designate a meditation/prayer/chill space in a quiet area of your home, and
3. have healthy snacks on hand to make it more likely that you’ll eat well.

Today one of the students at my elementary school piled every pillow he could find into this tent, turned on the sparkly lights that are draped across the top, pulled a super soft blanket over himself, zipped down the zipper, and closed out the world. I feel you, little man ❤️
I may have told him to leave it like that so I could try it out after school…

I've just returned from a conference trying to learn how to start a business, and one thing they're telling me is that I need to niche down.
If you don't fit the niche exactly, you’re of course welcome to stay, but if you find it's not for you I understand.

🔵 I’m obsessed with the Blue Zones. I’ve read at least 3 of the books, and now there’s a Netflix series on them!
🌎 If you don’t know about them, they’re 5 areas in the world with the most people living to 100+. They identified 9 lifestyle habits common to these areas, mostly around purpose, community, and wellness (diet, low stress, daily movement).
🇺🇸 This isn’t in the Netflix series, but there are Blue Zone Projects where they worked to bring these ideas to US cities including Spencer, Iowa; Albert Lea, Minnesota; and Fort Worth, Texas and “…the results are stunning.” - Dr. Walter C. Willett, Harvard School of Public Health.
Anyway…fascinating! And now I need to go and visit them all!
