The 2026 season by the numbers.

Diego Rosas shattered the club’s single-season assists record, with 11 in 19 matches. The previous single season record was held by Nathan Messer and Giorgio Probo with 7. His 11 assists place him second all-time, trailing Alex Hall’s tally of 12.

Rosas was electric for the Vermonters from the first match to the National Final, scoring 8 goals and finishing the season with 19 goal involvements, another single-season record shared with 2026 teammates Ryan Zellefrow and Jeremy Francou.

The winger assisted in four consecutive playoff matches en route to the club’s second national title.

The 2026 season by the numbers.

Liv Grenda proved to be a standout force in Abby Carchio’s tactical vision, leading the team with 6 assists in 13 starts. The midfielder from Perkasie, PA also scored 3 goals of her own for 9 goal involvements on the team’s 36 total goals.

Grenda played 1,052 minutes for the club, including every minute of the USLW Playoffs, and converted a penalty in the National Final.

In her college preseason, Grenda was named to 2026 Women’s MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

The 2026 season by the numbers.

Seth Wilson led the Green in clean sheets with 7 in 13 starts, allowing just 0.62 goals per 90 minutes across all competitions.

In his first season with the club, the Texan goalkeeper made an instant impact, showing his mettle early on in Steinbrecher Cup action. In the tournament’s semifinal in North Carolina, the Hero of Hickory made a vital stop in penalties to send the Vermonters to the final after a 0-0 draw.

In USL2 play, Wilson continued his fine form throughout the Northeast Division title-winning campaign, conceding just 6 goals during the regular season. He started all 5 playoff matches, conceding just twice as the Green trekked across the country en route to a second-straight undefeated national title.

Wilson’s 7 clean sheets ties the club’s all-time record, held by Nathan Schnur and Niklas Herceg. Elite company.

The 2026 season by the numbers.

In the club’s inaugural USLW campaign, captain goalkeeper Olivia Shippee recorded 7 clean sheets in 13 starts. After debuting in the 2025 exhibition series, Ship hit the ground running in her second stint in Burlington, setting the standard on- and off-the-pitch as the league newcomers battled to lift the inaugural USLW Northeast Division trophy.

In the playoffs, Shippee played some of her best football of the summer. In the three playoff matches at Virtue Field, she recorded three clean sheets and became the first Vermont Green goalkeeper—men’s or women’s—to record an assist. Her sensational play led the Green to the USLW Eastern Conference title.

After an unfortunate injury in the USLW National Final, Ship returned to action last week for Boston College, playing 45 minutes at Virtue Field against UVM.

USL League Two has named Chris Taylor the 2026 Eastern Conference Coach of the Year. Taylor wins the award on the back of an 18W-1D-0L season that saw Vermont Green FC win a second straight undefeated National Championship.

USL W League has named Abby Carchio the Eastern Conference Coach of the Year.

Carchio completed an unforgettable inaugural league campaign, finishing with a 9W-5D-0L record and leading the Green to the National Final in her first full-time head coaching role.
