We're back for round 2!!

Do you want to try picking up your CSA share by bike? Or do you not have a share but want to see what all the fuss is about at the farm? All are welcome on this ride! 🥒 🍅 💐

🚲 6 mile ride (one way)

Join us for a group ride down to the farm! We'll take the long way there to enjoy the Intervale trails, and we'll showcase different ways to carry things on a bike (trailer, rack and panniers, basket, etc). This will be a chill and supportive no-drop ride.

P.S. Did you know that ICF offers "Greenstamps" for folks who walk, bike, or carpool to their pickup?? Greenstamps can be used to get a dollar off eggs, bread, or cheese, or to pick twice as much of a pick-your-own crop! Participants on this ride will also receive a discount coupon for service at Old Spokes Home to help make your bike more CSA pickup friendly (lower gearing, wider tires, basket install, etc).

The annual Spectrum Youth & Family Youth Apprenticeship program is off to a great start at Old Spokes Home this year! These eager and engaged students dove right into hands-on learning about bike maintenance and repair.

The program meets 3 times a week for 5 weeks, teaching basic mechanic and troubleshooting skills. Thank you Richard Tom Foundation for your financial support of this program! We love to see people of all ages learning how to wrench in our community workshop 🔧🔧🔧

Coffee, tacos, and helmet hair 🌮☕ Friday morning's ride out to Mike at Bread and Butter Farm was absolute excellence!

The rain stopped just in time and we enjoyed an ~11 mile route of predominantly separated bike path 🤩

The breakfast tacos and coffee were a dream, and the farm was bustling with cafe goers and summer camp attendees. A perfect day to support local with your friends! ✨

Can you believe that it's already been a month and a half since Bike Bloom?? We're still riding the high of a gorgeous day with so many fabulous bikes. Can you spot yourself or your bike in these photos?

We are so grateful for bikes and the ability to ride them on the Intervale Center trails ❤️

We got there by bike!! Thank you to everyone who joined us on our Intervale Community Farm CSA pickup ride yesterday 💜

We had a mix of experienced CSA bikers, and folks who had never been to the Intervale before. We were even joined by a touring cyclist who heard about the ride while in town!

It was HOT in the sun, but the trees along the 127 path and throughout the Intervale provided much needed shade. We'll be enjoying our veggies, flowers, and knowledge of how to carry things by bike! Stay tuned for the next ride 🚲

Gender Equity July! 🪩 ✨️

Our first class offering in July is the RAR One-Night Stand: a collab with the local Radical Adventure Riders chapter that is specifically for women, transgender, and non-binary students.

This two-hour class is packed full of information to help you understand your bike, and to make you feel more comfortable in maintaining it on your own 🔧 With a 3:1 student to teacher ratio, you'll be sure to have your questions addressed in a welcoming environment.

Join Old Spokes Home employees and board members for an early morning coffee ride! ☕

We can chat about our nonprofit shop (or other things!) as we pedal out to Blank Page Cafe at Bread and Butter Farm in Shelburne.

Meet at the shop at 7am, we'll roll out by 7:15. The route will be approximately 10 miles, a mix of bike path and road, and an average pace of 10-12mph. RSVP here: https://sevendaystickets.com/e/coffee-ride-blank-page-cafe

All ride participants will get 10% off cafe items, including breakfast tacos!! 🌮

**RSVPs are not required for the ride but are helpful for planning purposes. There will not be a formal ride back to Burlington, folks can head out as they please.**
