We are SO excited to announce that Melissa Moura will be joining the SDC staff this Fall! Please join us in giving her a huge WELCOME! 🤩

Melissa Moura is a collegiate dancer, choreographer, and dance educator from Malden, Massachusetts. Melissa currently attends Merrimack College, where she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Dance. She is also a member of the Merrimack College Dance Team, where she competes at NDA nationals at the Division I level.

Committed to continuing her growth as both an artist and educator, Melissa has trained through the Dance Teachers Club of Boston and has participated in numerous prestigious programs and intensives across the country.

As an educator and choreographer, Melissa is passionate about fostering confidence, artistry, and a love of dance in her students. She is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers while creating a positive and encouraging environment in which every student can grow both as an artist and an individual.

We are SO lucky to have her! ❤️

Good luck to our Junior Company dancer, Cassidy Miskelly, as she competes at West Coast Dance Explosion’s 2026 National Finals in Florida! Cassidy is attending as a Junior Elite scholarship winner from Boston and will be performing with Elite dancers from all over the country. We are so excited for you, Cassidy!❤️
