More summer camp fun!

Today we said goodbye to Clayton as he heads off to Pennsylvania!

Three years ago, Clayton began his tennis journey at BTC. Since then, he's grown from a young player learning the basics into a key member of BCA's State Championship team. Along the way, he developed a stronger game, a competitive spirit, and only occasionally blamed the tennis balls for his mistakes.

As Clayton heads north, we'll miss seeing him on the courts, but we're proud of everything he's accomplished and excited for what comes next. Keep working hard, keep enjoying the game, and remember: no matter where you play, always pretend that ball was out.

Bon voyage, Clayton! Thanks for being part of the BTC family, and best wishes as you continue your tennis journey. 🎾

Congratulations to the 2026 NCISAA- BCA Boys Tennis Champions on an incredible 5-4 victory over Wayne County Day in a true thriller!

The championship came down to the final match where BTC Staff member Connor Pherson showed tremendous heart and composure, rallying from down 4-9 in the super tiebreaker to win seven straight points and clinch the deciding match and state championship 11-9.

This championship team was made up of BTC Staff members Connor McPherson and Harlon Murray, along with players Thomas Evans, Luke Williams, Nathan Garrigan, Clayton Knavel, and Ian Reddington, all of whom have dedicated themselves over the years to improving and developing their games through the BTC clinics.

Congratulations to the entire team on an unforgettable season and an outstanding accomplishment!

Starting tomorrow 16 teams from across the state will come together at BTC to compete in the NCHSAA Dual Team Championships. Matches start at 9 am and 12:30 pm on both days. Best to all the teams!

Join the 2026 Huck Finn Junior Doubles Tennis Classic on Saturday, May 16th — a fun day of junior tennis, teamwork, competition, and community support benefiting the Alamance Junior Tennis Foundation!

Players of all ages and levels are invited to take part in this exciting doubles event while supporting AJTF’s mission of growing junior tennis opportunities across Alamance County. Come enjoy a great atmosphere, great tennis, and a memorable day on the courts!

The Burlington Tennis Center will be buzzing with championship action over the next two weekends!

This Friday and Saturday, BTC hosts the NCHSAA Men’s 3A & 4A Individual (singles and doubles) State Championships, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friday and wrapping up Saturday afternoon — stop by to catch some exciting matches and see who will be crowned the 2026 NC State Champion.

Then, on the 15th & 16th, BTC will welcome the NCHSAA Men’s Dual Team State Championships. Sixteen teams from across North Carolina will compete for state titles in all eight divisions.

Come out to enjoy two great weekends of fun, competitive junior tennis right here at BTC!
