Fished with Lincoln and his dad today and Lincoln caught his new PB.

Had a great time with Darion today seeing him catch his 1st musky.

18 anglers came out to compete on the Cooper River Open this past Saturday. 5 guest anglers were in attendance, thanks for coming out guys! The weather was absolutely gorgeous and on the cooler side with a nice breeze. It was the best day on Cooper River the club has ever had here. The lake record was broken twice today! 4 limits were caught. In first place, with 77.75” of bass was Matt Zappile! Matt’s 3rd win of the season. He is also chasing AOY leader Alex Bronsky! In second place, with 76.75” of bass was Matt Martin! Both of these limits beat the old record of 70.50” caught by Branson Shute on July 31st, 2021. And in 3rd place, with 71.75” of bass was Alex Bronsky. Our lunker was a 17.50” caught by Chris Califano. Our miscellaneous pot winner was Paul Heger with a giant 28.5” snakehead! Congratulations guys!

Mary Lou Gicker and Stephen Bonham became eligible for membership and were voted in. Welcome to the club guys!

Our next tournament is our scramble tournament on Alloway/Audrey/Willow Grove lake on Saturday, September 6th from 7am-1pm. This is members only! See you there!
