Miller Center Spaces for Rent:
The Miller Center, conveniently located next door to Hunt Middle School and CP Smith Elementary School in Burlington’s new north end provides space for a variety of activities including:
Gymnasium – 7,000 square foot regulation high school size basketball court with synthetic flooring, mobile bleachers with seating for 70, electronic scoreboard, retractable basketball hoops, gym divider and locker rooms with restrooms, showers and lockers, $60/hour
Community Room – 1,800 square foot versatile space with small kitchen, overhead projector and screen, surround sound, tables and chairs, seating for up to 120, $50/hour
Kitchen – State licensed kitchen offers prep and cooking space for caterers, food trucks, etc and includes gas stove and oven, proofing oven, refrigerator, 3 bay sink and prep space as well as limited cookware and utensils. Cooking equipment is not ventilated so no oil-based cooking is allowed, carry-in, carry-out rentals only, $30/hour
Kids Room – Perfect for birthday parties and playgroups as well as small meetings, this room has sink and counter space, toys, cubbies and kid sized tables and chairs. Our Fletcher Free Library “Micro Library” is also housed in the Kids Room – feel free to borrow a book when you visit! Seating for up to 25, $30/hour
Fitness Studio – Located off of the gym, the 1,100 square foot fitness room has wood floor, wall mirrors, music system and great natural light, capacity varies by activity, $40/hour
Art Room – Also located adjacent to the gym, this classroom space offers counters, sink, tables and chairs for up to 30, $30/hour
Conference Room – Located off the lobby with quiet, comfortable space is offered FREE to the public for meetings, etc, seating for up to 12, $30/hour

Boost your at-home fitness routine with our six week session of Virtual Fitness Class starting February 15! Join KC Bruch twice a week for a lively hour of virtual group fitness. This class is designed for adults 50+ to increase strength, range of motion, balance, agility, coordination, endurance and to improve participants physical fitness level and a sense of well being. Not special equipment is necessary other than your computer and internet.

Find calmness and wellness this new year! Join us for a January Session of Well Being Series: Tools for Self-Care & Wholeness.
Learn easy ways to help yourself and your well-being through Hands-on-Healing. In this virtual 4 session series, you will learn Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese Art of Happiness, Longevity and Benevolence; also know as the Art of Getting to Know (Help) Myself.
We will practice simple breathing techniques and 'holds'-for example, holding your fingers, or places on your body-to help relieve stress and tension and to bring balance and harmony back to your body and mind. It's fun, calming and restorative.
This licensed vacation camp is for school aged kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. The camp will provide your kids with fun, excitement, friendships and outdoor play. A daily cold breakfast, cold lunch and afternoon snack will be provided. Childcare subsidies are accepted. The camp day is from 8:30-4:30 each day at the Miller Community & Recreation Center located at 130 Gosse Court in Burlington.

Keep your softball pitching skill sharp in the off season! Players ages 8-18 can sign up for 5 session of our pitching clinics.
Led by expert, Dave Allerton, girls will learn the mechanics of the fast-pitch softball pitching motion. Suitable for beginners and more advanced pitchers too. He will also cover how to warm up for a game and how to throw different pitches. Each pitcher MUST bring their own catcher for the clinic.
There's still time to register for American Sign Language. Instructor Alex Grist is offering three levels starting in January. Learn something new this year! Class meets in person at the Miller Center.
Youth Basketball Season starts soon. There's still time to register before the "Fun Day" on Saturday 12/4. As a reminder, ALL participant of youth sports are required to wear a mask.
There's also just a few more spaces in our December Vacation Camps, but it's not to early to sign up for February!
We've opened up registration for January adult programs too. Sign up for sign language, knitting, line dancing, yoga and more!
Following state and school directives, we're updating our indoor masking policy. Starting on November 8 ALL PARTICIPANTS OF OUR YOUTH PROGRAMS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK.
Mask requirements for adult programs and leagues are at the discretion of the organizers, however masks are recommended for all participants regardless of vaccination status.
