That’s the focus of this companion offering to the monthly Roots Book Club. Each session will begin with a grounding yoga flow designed to create space in the body. From there, participants will transition into guided writing prompts and quiet reflection tied to the thematic threads of the month’s reading.📚

While inspired by the book club selections, these workshops are open to everyone, whether or not they participate in the book club.🫶🏼

This workshop focuses on slowing down and listening inward. The yoga practice emphasizes grounding, gentle heart-opening, and nervous system regulation, followed by reflective writing prompts centered around connection, memory, and the stories we carry.☀️

What is it?⬇️

🌱A transformative wellness and creativity program crafted specifically for pre-teen and teen girls.

When is it?⬇️

🗓️Series 1: Mondays 3-5pm - July 13, 20 & 27
🗓️Series 2: Mondays 2-5pm - August 10, 17 & 24

Who is it for?⬇️

🤸🏼‍♀️Girls age range: 12-15

What to bring⬇️

🧘‍♀️Yoga mat, water bottle, comfortable clothes, and a healthy snack

Our philosophy⬇️

✨Encouraging mindful growth. This series offers a safe, supportive sanctuary where pre-teens & teens can explore their inner strength, develop emotional resilience, and build lasting friendships.

✨We focus on fostering a stronger body and a calmer mind, preparing every girl to grow with purpose and confidence.

How will we spend our time?⬇️

🦋Each week has a different theme. (e.g. “personal expression,” “healthy routines + confidence,” “identity,” & more)

🦋We will include a unique blend of intentional yoga movement, interactive creative workshops, and heart-centered community circles to foster a safe and supportive space for young girls to spend their time this summer.
