U-15 Black Girls Team are Finalists at the Twin Cities Classic Tournament
The BSC U15 Girls Black team, coached by Horacio Vera, participated in the Twin City Classic pre-season tournament this weekend in Advance, NC. This was the first time all of these players had a chance to play together.
The division of their tournament was comprised of 4 teams and at the end of the first day, they were all in a dead heat with the results of all games played ending in 1-1 ties. On Sunday morning, the BSC team was determined to make it to the finals and beat the Twin City Blue team 2-1.
In the finals they played the Lake Norman United Legacy. They were not so lucky in the final game, but this gives them fuel to start their season off as they will face this team again in the first game of the regular season. A rematch during which they plan to reverse the outcome.
