Definitely the shortest post-game speech I’ve ever delivered, but worth repeating to my girls; “I’m proud of you!” The Cuties played a second year team, and held their ground. A 2-2 draw and compliments from the other coach meant as much a “W”.
Fantastic game, ladies! See you on Tuesday! Come prepared for some hard work!

It’s not often you brag about a loss, but I was proud of the way our girls played until the final whistle tonight. Despite the score, they refused to accept the outcome. We were definitely playing a more advanced team, but we viewed it as an opportunity to see what personal dedication and commitment to your team looks like. Learn and grow, ladies!

Excellent point! Parents, my rule of thumb is that you should only address other players on the team and not your own. It generally comes across as much more positive!

Proud of “my girls “ tonight. They played with heart, if not with their heads! I can’t wait until the end of the season to say I’m proud of “my TEAM “!

Just when I start to wonder if the girls are truly listening to my little halftime speeches, they prove me wrong! Tonight was another perfect example.
We were in a playoff match to determine 1st place. The other team was digging in for the draw in order to clinch the top seed. I challenged our girls to want it more, and to chase every ball down. "First to the ball; last to leave". They rose to the occasion, and pulled out the "W"! It's been an amazing season, Cuties! I'm very proud of how everyone contributed tonight to cap off a fantastic season!
