AFAA's Dance Foundations is our preschool and young dancers program for ages 18 months - 6 years and we are SO excited to be growing this program! Even though classes began last week, we are still enrolling! Check out our class options that still have some available spots below ⤵️

- Thursdays 3:15-4:00 pm

Ballet / Jazz Combo Class 🩰👐🏼
- Ages 5-6
- Class time divided for beginner ballet and jazz techniques!
- Wednesdays 4:30-5:30

Please help us in welcoming one of our newest members of the AFAA staff, Ms. Taylor Pennington! 🎉

Taylor is an Alamance Fine Arts Academy alum who began taking ballet and character classes at AFAA when she was 16, and continued until her high school graduation. She has also had the opportunity to work backstage on the tech crew for several of AFAA's theatre productions. She absolutely loved her time there and everything that she learned through those experiences. Taylor is married to Caleb--also an AFAA alum--and loves being a stay-at-home mom to their son, Graham. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, playing piano, a good, cozy movie, and going to her favorite coffee shops. She is so excited to be back at AFAA this year as the Theatre Assistant! 🎭️

As we reflect on the past 🔟 years that Alamance Fine Arts Academy has been open, we remember all that the Lord has done, within our studio walls and in the lives of our students, families and staff! That is why this year at the studio will be a "Year to Remember" as we spend time looking back on all the Lord has done for us since we opened in the fall of 207; as well as looking back over the foundational message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is at the core of ALL we do here at AFAA! ✝️

Our 12 week session of Adult Ballet begins NEXT week! 🩰

This class is a great option for any adult who wants to try out a new hobby or someone who wants to get back into dancing as a way to stay active after years outside of the studio! ✨️

12 week sessions are available to meet the needs of busy schedules and a way to try it out without a full year's commitment! Our first session will be September 1st - November 17th 🗓️
