Hello Blazers! Are you itching to talk about mountain biking and finding a lack of an outlet to do so with this weather? We are looking for some students to volunteer at Burnsville High School Thursday, January 22; from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (show up anytime after 5:30 to set up the table). You will be able to tell all the incoming freshman about how rad the team, sport and coaches are!!! Bring any decorations for the table (heck we even had a bike last time that was fun!) and wear blaze gear or colors. Collect some emails and it’s that simple and it will leave you dreaming of your next ride with new friends! Check Team Snap and mark if you can help!

If you missed the season end Banquet at the High School earlier this week or just want to revisit it again - here's a quick repeat (without any coach commentary 🤣). Thanks everyone for a great night and a terrific season! Everyone should be proud of the community we've built and the accomplished. # Minnesota Cycling Association ISD 191 Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District Terrace Oaks Singletrack Trail

Wow! What a day yesterday! 8 Blaze athletes and 3 Blaze coaches set out to compete the Blaze Hot Wheels 100 century ride on the Luce Line. 50 miles out and 50 miles back.

We started in a cold drizzle, rode through strong side and headwinds (did we get any tailwind - I don’t think so), and enjoyed a few moments of late afternoon sun on the fall leaves before finishing in the dark.

Everyone completed their goal of riding 100 miles in a day. For 7 athletes and 1 coach it was their first century ride. Everyone pushed through and besides the sore muscles and aching bottoms it was fun filled day.

Special thanks to our support team - Alison Lunde, Shelly Watterson and Niki Williams. Your encouragement, smiling faces and multitude of snacks really helped us meet our goals.

Icing on the cake, Coach Sarah N finished her longest ride to date completing close to 50 riding with Coach Bob.

What a day to finish out the Blaze Minnesota Cycling Association riding season!

Now it’s time to wash your bike, l**e your chain and get ready for the Banquet! If you didn’t already RSVP via the form Coach Sarah D sent via Snap do it now! 👍🚴🏿‍♂️🔥
