After a great deal of thought and careful planning, I have made the difficult decision to begin sunsetting MN Waves Fastpitch after completing our current commitments this summer.
This wasn't an easy decision.
For more than a decade, MN Waves has been about much more than softball. Together we've celebrated championships, college commitments, friendships, and watched hundreds of young athletes grow into outstanding young women. Those memories and relationships will always be the heart of this program.
To every player, parent, coach, volunteer, sponsor, and supporter who believed in MN Waves, thank you. You helped build something that made a lasting impact on so many families, and I will always be grateful for the trust you placed in me and this organization.
Our current team will continue exactly as planned. My commitment to our players and families remains unchanged, and I look forward to finishing this season the right way.
While this chapter is coming to a close, my passion for coaching and developing athletes certainly isn't. I'm excited about what comes next and look forward to continuing to serve the fastpitch community in a new way.

The Waves is a Top Tier Fastpitch club for athletes who want to play at the highest level. We strive to develop confident athletes on and off the field through focused instruction and a positive team culture. The Waves is based in the South Metro of the Twin Cities and attracts players from Minnesota and surrounding regions. The program aims to compete with the best, both locally and in national tournaments.
Minnesota Waves 14u National is looking for a Pitcher/OF (will consider other positions) to sub for the following tournaments due to injury:
1. 2026 S&C Showcase (6/19-6/21, Sand Creek Park, C**n Rapids, MN)
2. 2026 Great Lakes Firecracker Showcase (6/30 - 7/5, Indianapolis, IN)

CONGRATULATIONS to our very own, Hadley Martinson, and the Bloomington Jefferson Jags on winning the Minnesota HS 4AAAA State Championship!
We couldn't be prouder of all of our kids playing for their high school teams this season, but we are ready to get our season rolling!
