If you’ve been around Flint hockey, you know the name Rico Phillips. But if you’ve been lucky enough to know Rico, you know his impact goes far beyond hockey.

From the very beginning of our journey building opportunities for girls in the Greater Flint area, Rico has been one of those people who has simply shown up. He has supported our girls, encouraged them, believed in what we were building, and reminded them that there is absolutely a place for them in this game.

Rico’s influence in the Flint hockey community and the OHL is undeniable, but what makes him truly special is what he chooses to do with that influence. He advocates for youth. He opens doors. He encourages kids. And he makes a point to support the people working to make hockey stronger and more accessible in our community.

Our girls get to look at someone who has accomplished incredible things in this sport and see someone who still takes the time to stand beside them. That’s what matters.

Rico, thank you for believing in Greater Flint girls hockey since day one. Thank you for showing our girls what leadership, kindness, and giving back to your community actually looks like.

You are a tremendous role model, an incredible ambassador for Flint hockey, and an even better human being.

We’re incredibly grateful you’ve been part of this journey from the beginning. These girls will remember the people who showed up for them! ❤️🤍💙

CANUSA GAMES ARE ALMOST HERE!

The countdown is on, and Team USA is ready to hit the ice right here in Burton at Crystal Fieldhouse!

We'd love to see our friends, family, teammates, and the entire community come out to cheer on these incredible athletes as they represent the USA against Canada. The girls and boys have been working hard, and there's nothing better than playing in front of a loud hometown crowd.

Bring the whole family, wear your red, white, and blue, and help us create an atmosphere these players will never forget.

There will also be a "Greet & Eat" tent and food trucks on August 7 from 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, so come hungry and make an evening of it!

Registration for the 2026-2027 Hockey Season is now available! Please take time to read the information on the website as it answers many questions you may have. Full Time 10U/12U/14U/16U House Goalies have a free ice bill (max 2 per team) and weekly goalie coaching provided by Johnson Goaltending. Registration is first come, first serve and ends August 15th. Should you have to register on the waitlist (Skater or Goalie) because spots are full, we will contact those at that time with any openings that may have become available.

All of our association teams are FULL SEASON teams so please do not register if you plan on playing High School Hockey.

Formation of a 16U Co-Ed House team and the Tier 3 Girls Teams will be dependent on registrations. If you want to play on either of these please register asap so we are able to determine early how these teams will play out.

Deposit of $225 due upon registration and monthly payment plan available.
