Thaxton's Canoe Trails and Paddlers' Inn We rent canoes, kayaks, tubes, campsites, and cabins on the South Fork and Main Licking Rivers in Pendleton County.
The cedar made cabins are nestled on the banks of the Main Licking River at our base operation near the city of Butler in Northern Kentucky. We're close to Kincaid Lake State Park, A.J. Jolly Park and The Ark Encounter. Open April - October weather and water levels permitting.

Enjoy this beautiful view this weekend on the peaceful Licking River. Grab a friend or 2 and hop in a kayak for the day. We have a beautiful 6 mile trip that takes 2-3 hours if you paddle the whole time, but you can also make it a whole day adventure if you wish! 💫 A nice float is just what you need.
