Hey Josh & Jase

Michigan called... and we heard you're back.

Last summer we invited you to come see what Break Room Therapy is all about, and we're extending that invitation again.

If you decide to stop by this summer, let us know beforehand.

We might just let you in on a little secret... 🤫
We've been working on something brand new behind the scenes, and if the timing works out, you could be among the very first people to experience it before everyone else.
No pressure. Just an open invitation from one Michigan small business that thinks you'd have an absolute blast.

See you this summer? 🔨💙
A session break shish is on us for you!

You may have heard the old advice that businesses should “stay out of politics.”

But political decisions affect nearly every part of our everyday lives—whether we recognize them as political or not.

They affect the cost of healthcare and prescriptions.
The rights and safety of women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ people.
The wages people earn and whether they have money left to support small businesses.
The cost of utilities, insurance, housing and groceries.
The quality of the air we breathe and the water we drink.
Which businesses receive support—and which ones are expected to survive on their own.

As small-business owners, we don’t experience politics as something distant happening in Washington. We experience it through our expenses, our employees, our customers and the families who tell us they are struggling just to afford everyday life.

Last Sunday, David and I attended the People vs. the Powerful rally with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
We listened to a message about building a government that works for everyday people—not only billionaires, corporations and those with the loudest financial influence.

And as small-business owners who are seeing firsthand how difficult life has become for working families, we see hope in Abdul El-Sayed

We see hope in his commitment to accessible healthcare, protecting women and LGBTQIA+ Americans, defending civil rights, addressing the costs weighing on families, and getting corporate money out of politics.

For those reasons, Break Room Therapy proudly supports Dr. Abdul El-Sayed for the United States Senate.

Michigan’s primary election is August 4.

Whether you agree with our choice or not, please learn about the candidates, understand what they stand for and VOTE.

Your vote affects more than the names holding office. It affects your healthcare, your paycheck, your rights, your community—and the small businesses trying to survive within it.

Break Room Therapy has always been more than a place to break things. We are a business built around people, mental health, inclusion and the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to exist.

Those values don’t stop at our front door—and they don’t disappear during an election.

Please use your voice. Please vote on August 4.
