Byron Tae Kwon Do Academy

We had an awesome Promotional Testing last Tuesday evening. Students received their new ranks at the end of testing. New black belts, and black belts earning their 2nd and 3rd Dans also received their IJTF Black Belt Certificates. Their new belts have been ordered. I am looking forward to presenting them with their new belts.

Byron Taekwondo Academy will become Victory Taekwondo on June 1, 2016.

Promotional Testing next Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Classes this evening will work on forms, sparring, and board breaking.

Promotional Testing date has changed. Testing will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Registration forms will be available Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Classes next week will be geared to getting students ready for testing.

Well I meant to type: If you are NOT coming to train hard you just need to stay home. Sparring this evening.

Sparring this week. Don't forget your gear. Keep your kwons up and keep them closed tight. Jammed and broken fingers are not fun and can be quite painful. Keep those fist closed tight and keep your eyes on your sparring partner. If you are coming to train hard you need to stay home.

Sparring Week starts next week. Green belts and higher -- do not forget to bring your sparring gear.

Good classes this week. A lot of new color belts.
