Amanda's Dance Academy opened its doors in October 2010. We offer a wide range of classes for children of all ages, such as: ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, lyrical, and out tiny tot program. We offer both Recreational and Competitive classes and solo's in a relaxed, and family friendly environment. We are pleased to be serving the dance families in Harrison County for over the past decade!

Two Great Classes. One Convenient Night. And fall season kicks off Monday!

Busy families, we’ve made it easier to give your dancer more opportunities without adding another night to your weekly schedule!

Our back-to-back class options allow dancers to explore multiple styles, build a wider range of skills, and spend more time doing what they love—all in one convenient evening.

Wednesday | Ages 5 & Up

Our Mommy & Me class is the perfect first introduction to dance for our littlest dancers!

Designed for dancers ages 2½ & under, this class gives toddlers the opportunity to explore movement, music and dance alongside their favorite grown-up in a fun, encouraging environment.

🩰 Mommy & Me
• 4:30–5:00 PM on Wednesdays
• Ages 2½ & under

Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa or another special grown-up can join their little dancer as we wiggle, move, explore and begin building a love of dance together.

No dance experience needed — just come ready to move, make memories and have fun!

Ready to dance?
Our fall classes for dancers ages 5–8 are a fun way to build skills, confidence, coordination, and a love of dance — and we have several great options offered back-to-back on Wednesday evenings!

🩰 Ballet & Tap Combo
Twirl, point, shuffle and step! Dancers will learn the foundations of ballet while exploring the rhythm and energy of tap. This combination builds balance, coordination, musicality and confidence.

🎶 Tap & Hip Hop
Two completely different styles in one convenient evening! Dancers will work on rhythm and musicality in tap before switching gears to the high-energy movement and fun choreography of hip hop.

📣 Hip Hop & Pom
Move, groove and bring the energy! Dancers will explore hip hop choreography and then jump into Pom — our fun cheer-and-dance fusion class featuring strong arm movements, jumps, Pom skills and jazz-inspired choreography.

Perfect for busy families and dancers who want to experience more than one style!

No line dancing experience required — we’re here to laugh, learn a few dances, sip a little sangria, and have ourselves a GOOD time. And as we like to say… line dancing is always a little easier with “some sips”. 😂

Amanda’s Dance Academy Competition Team Parents — Reminder!

We will be holding a brief Competition Parent Meeting tomorrow evening from 6:00–7:00 PM at ADA.

During the meeting, we’ll outline important expectations, dates, and deadlines for the upcoming competition season so everyone knows what to expect as we head into a new year together.

We will also be taking sign-ups for our Strolling Nutcracker Project during the meeting.

We’re excited for another great season with our ADA Competition Team and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow evening!
