Wow, Team! What an amazing experience we had this past weekend at United! ❤️

Our team showed up on a UNITED front with 77 competitors, and we could not be more proud of what we accomplished together. Not only did our athletes show up and compete individually, but as a team, we took home Overall Kids, Overall Adults, AND Overall Team in the Valley!🏆

United has become such a special competition for our team. We’ve watched our athletes put in countless hours of training, overcome challenges, push through hard rounds, and pour their blood, sweat, and tears into preparing for this weekend.

But the medals and trophies are only a small part of what makes days like this so special. It’s watching teammates encourage one another, coaches cheer from the sidelines, friends celebrate each other’s victories, and seeing the growth that happens both on and off the mat.

To every competitor who stepped out there and represented Gracie Barra Caldwell — we are so proud of you. Whether you brought home a medal or simply had the courage to step on the mat and give it everything you had, you made our team proud.

Thank you to every coach, parent, teammate, and supporter who helped make this weekend possible. This is what being a team is all about.

Jiu-Jitsu is about so much more than the training you receive on the mat.

It’s about the people you meet along the way. The teammates who push you when you’re tired, the friends who celebrate your wins, the ones who stand beside you through the losses, and the friendships that grow stronger with every class, competition, and shared experience.

Some of the best memories aren’t just made during the rounds — they’re made in the laughs between matches, the hugs after a tough fight, the car rides to competitions, and the moments spent cheering each other on.

Because the techniques may be learned on the mat, but the relationships you build can last a lifetime — both on and off the mat. ❤️

This is what makes our Jiu-Jitsu family so special.
