Stormin Britches is a big strong 8 year old gelding, raised on the Freeman Ranch (Colorado) that has seen some hard days on the ranch and rises to every occasion. He has been used out in big country, in the arena for ranch rodeos, in the branding pen, and has been shown in the boxing class in a few horse shows. He has been around kids, dogs, traffic, pastures with other horses; you name it! He shoes, ties, loads, leads, pony's, and ground ties. The Dillman barn had a good time showing in Douglas, Wyoming at the CRCA Firecracker! Our riders had lots of success in the show pen in both the standings and accomplishing goals. Congrats to all!

We want to recognize this family on their impressive results at the NRSHA show in Guthrie OK. A huge congratulations to Thea and Thee Gambler on her All Around Championship in the Novice Youth Ranch, Garret and Lil Bit A Spitfire were your Reserve All Around Champions in the Novice Youth Ranch and Gracie and Docs Sailing Sunrise had a great show finishing 6th in the Novice Youth Ranch All Around. Garret and Gracie also swept first and second in the AQHA Ranching Heritage Ranch Riding AND the Limited Youth Box Drive. Jason won the AQHA Amateur Ranching Heritage Boxing on Styling Boon and finished top ten in the Novice Amateur Ranch All Around. Congratulations on the stellar results from unwavering dedication to the work and the process! We are so proud of the growth we’ve seen and grateful to be a part of their journey!

Last from the Drought Buster are the results for the Open! Dave and Beast Ov Burden had a huge fence run in the Open Bridle and had a composite score of 149.5!

We also want to thank Jan Tanner for sending This One Freckle! We look forward to showing this c**t in the derbies this year!

Next up in the CRCA Drought Buster results are the boxers! All of our team members had success at this show, but we want to give some recognition to Julian Ellis! This was Julian’s first NRCHA show and he made improvements every time he stepped in the show pen. Congratulations to the boxers!

Three of our riders competed in the Non Pro Boxing Derby at the CRCA Drought Buster. We want to give a shout out to Julie Atkinson on a successful first show aboard her derby horse CFive Smart N Stylin. We look forward to watching these three teams in the boxing derbies this year!
