Hey guys, I killed my phone a couple days ago on vacation. I've lost everything. If you need to contact me please email me and I'll check as frequent as possible at [email protected]. It seems the spawn is here so I probably won't be doing any trips for a couple weeks. Post spawn bite is real good. Some people may ask why no spawn fishing. 2 reasons, 1) big fish fishing is iffy 2) when you do catch a big fish your taking a chance on pulling it off it's nest. That's really number 1 no no to me. If your cat fishing now go for numbers of small fish. If you catch a big fish now please release immediately so it can get back to its nest. Everywhere is different this is mainly for the upper coosa river basin.

Got out with my buddy Andy a couple weeks ago on the Oostanaula river, he caught an 18 lb flathead. Then last weekend Jason and my family took a camping trip where all 13 caught fish and a lot of new personal best were caught. Yesterday got back out with Andy and caught a 33 lber out of state. The spawn won't be to far away. The best time to catch the big ones is now and the window is closing for the prespawn soon. I still have a couple days free if anyone is interested.
