Camp New Adventure has been operating at the Calhoun Recreation Center since the 1970’s and has served hundreds of special students in our school system for four weeks each summer. Money and transportation have been issues for many years. Grants, family & friends, United Way, American Home Place, Sequoyah Tennis Association, American Legion, Baptist ladies WMU all have been fantastic over the years.

Campers and parents..
Camp will be making a lot of changes this summer. The Calhoun Recreation Center building and swimming pool will be going through construction and will be closed. We will have Camp but each week will be only three days not five. We will be based at the Gordon County Recreation Center.. no swimming but we do have the splash pad to enjoy.. Paper work will be sent home after spring break. Read and sign each page and call me if you have any questions..
