An Emergency Missing Alert (EMA) has been activated on behalf of the Alameda County Sheriff's Office for Malachi Reyes-Hills, a 3-month-old infant.
Malachi was last seen with Charles Hills, 54, on September 3, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m., in Castro Valley, Alameda County, California.
Malachi is approximately 22 inches tall and weighs 10 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. His clothing at the time he was last seen is unknown.
Authorities identify Charles Hills as the suspect in this case. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 210 pounds, is bald, and was last known to be wearing a black tank top and brown pants. Authorities believe he may be traveling on foot.
If you see Malachi or Charles Hills, please do not attempt to intervene. Call 911 immediately.

A young boy believed to be approximately 5 to 6 years old was found running across Kimberly Parkway North, near a Sunoco gas station in Columbus, Ohio.
The child was nearly struck by a vehicle before concerned community members stopped to make sure he was safe. He was found without shoes and appeared frightened.
The boy has reportedly been unable to provide information about where he lives or who his family is. Police have been contacted and officers were expected to respond.
If you recognize this child or know of a family missing a young boy in the Kimberly Parkway North area or surrounding communities, please contact the Columbus Police Department immediately.
