Beginning November 1st 2026:

As the seasons change, we know everyone has busy schedules! We want to share a few important updates regarding our lesson scheduling, payment system, and upcoming paperwork at Byrd Horseback Riding Program.
📝 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬
This week at lessons, we will have updated paperwork for everyone to review and sign. These updates will include:
Our new arena location
Updated cancellation policies
New lesson package and payment information
Updated release forms
Each family will have the opportunity to sign the updated forms and take a copy home for their records. Please plan to review these updates during your lesson this week!
📅 𝐀 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲
• Appointment reminders: You’ll receive a reminder approximately 50 hours before your scheduled lesson, followed by another reminder 24 hours beforehand. These are great opportunities to let us know if you need to reschedule!
• 48-hour notice required: All cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
• Late cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to forfeiture of the full scheduled lesson fee.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen! Please reach out as soon as possible if something comes up so we can discuss your circumstances and any applicable cancellation fees.
💳 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭: 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦
To help us better manage our schedule, accommodate our waitlist, and reduce the impact of last-minute cancellations, we are transitioning to a new lesson payment system.
Unfortunately, repeated last-minute cancellations have made it necessary for us to make this change. Moving forward, lesson packages must be purchased and paid for in advance to reserve and hold your lesson spot. Individual lessons will no longer be purchased one at a time. Packages must be purchased before your next lesson is due.
Our new lesson packages are:
🐴 2-Lesson Package — $130 ($65 per lesson)
🐴 4-Lesson Package — $240 ($60 per lesson)
*For group lesson and or 30 minute lesson prices(5 and under only) please reach out.
Purchasing a package ahead of time helps us maintain a more consistent schedule, plan accordingly, and continue providing quality instruction to all our riders. We appreciate your understanding as we make this adjustment to better serve our program and our families.

Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and your upcoming lesson appointments. We’ll do our best to monitor weather conditions and communicate promptly if lessons need to be postponed. Our goal is to keep everyone on track, accommodate schedule changes when possible, and respect everyone’s time. If you’re unsure whether weather conditions will affect your lesson, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Lessons postponed due to weather will not be forfeited. You will be credited your lesson.
