Calumet Lake Disc Golf Course

Registration for the Keweenaw Open is now open! This is a PDGA C tier tournament taking place on Saturday, September 5th.
Participants will play 40 holes over 2 courses: 18 holes at Lake Linden in the morning, 22 holes at Calumet Lake in the afternoon (skipping holes 15,16,17,18,19). Female, Junior and AM4 divisions will play the short layouts, all others will play the long layouts.

The cost to play is $40 for all Am divisions, $50 for Pro, Under 18 and U15 $20. All money received gets paid back out in prizes.
Non-PDGA members pay $15 extra per PDGA rules.
6 Mens Divisions: MPO, MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4,MA40
6 Womens Divisions: FPO, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4,FA40
4 Junior Divisions: MJ18, MJ15, FJ18, FJ15

Sunday July 26.
9 players made it out for round #21 of the Keweenaw Bag Tag league at Calumet Lake playing the long blue layout.
Jesse Anderson claimed the hot round with a -2 score.
Rhett Carlson was one shot back at -1.
Gary Lassila threw an even par round for 3rd place.
Dylan Boberg finished his day at +1 for 4th place and Tate Lassila ended at +2 to round out the top scores for the day.

Tate Lassila won the CTP on hole #8 with a 9’11” toss and will select a disc in the future.

The next round will be 6pm Wednesday at Lake Linden playing the short layout.

14 teams played in the 11th annual Dam Jam Doubles tournament at Calumet Lake. The teams were divided into 2 flights after play concluded. Teams that finished: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th and 9th place all won money.
Everyone played 27 holes using the long red layout (female and junior players had the option to play from the short tees).

Conner Eddy and Rhett Carlson took down the 2026 Dam Jam shooting -16 to walk away with $145. Nice job boys!
Dylan Boberg and Tom Voelker shot -13 for 2nd place and $97.
Tim and Levi Wagner finished in 3rd place to win $73.

In the 2nd flight, Keith Billeck and Marc Panijan finished tied with Jason Lamerand and Kyle Waatti at +1. Keith and Marc won the tiebreaker on the 2nd playoff hole to claim $97. Jason and Kyle won $73.

31 players played in the Triple Threat Scramble by Stokely Discs at Calumet Lake on Monday evening. The event was a fun, casual 2 person random partners scramble. Players received 3 discs from Stokely Discs to use for their round. It was nice that Scott got paired with the youngest player there!

After the round, Scott talked for about an hour about the invention of the “disc”, the origins of disc golf, the creation of the PDGA and a whole lot more. It was a fun time for everyone!

Josh and Jessica Didur & Drew Wilson played their first league rounds of the season.
Rhett Carlson and Drew Wilson shared the hot round honors, both finishing at -13.
Luke Moore and Gary Lassila both shot -11 to tie for 3rd place.
Grant Northey and Jeremy Lindblom finished tied for 5th each shooting -9.
Jesse Anderson tossed an 8 under and Jessica Didur finished at +12 in the Female division to round out the top scores.

Jesse Anderson won the CTP on hole #12 and selected a Prodigy M4 in Glimmer 400 plastic.

Round 10, Wednesday June 17
A dozen players came out for round #10 at the Bucky’s course playing the short red layout.
Jeremy Lindblom and Finn O’Neill tied for the hot round for the evening, both shooting 2 under par.
Luke Moore and Will Braun were one stick back at -1.

Brayden Krans won the CTP on hole #3 and selected a Latitude 64 Opto Chameleon Ballista.

The next round will be 10am Sunday at Cal Lake playing the long red layout.
This will be a TWO DRIVES round (players take 2 drives on every tee and play their best one).
