The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is excited to work with Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District for ARTSFEST at Rancho Tapo Community Park on May 21, 2022, from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We are presenting five and inclusive acts on the ARTFEST stage for the event, which will begin with an opening ritual from Danza Azteca Nezahualpilli at 10:00 a.m., followed by:
11:00 a.m. Rae's First Day - A book reading by Author Danny Jordan
11:20 a.m. Untold Stories of Social Justice Leaders from the Simi Valley Cultural Association
12:00 p.m. Ballet Folklorico Cielito Lindo de Simi Valley
1:00 p.m. Indian Dance from the SIMI Valley ICC
2:00 p.m. Lion Dance from the Camarillo Kung Fu and Lion Dance Association
ARTFEST will include fine art displays from the Simi Valley Art Association, Inc, community artisan vendors, face painting, interactive activities, demonstrations, and street and chalk art.
