For 30+ years, Jose was living with CKD and doing what most people are told to do:
👉🏼following “renal diet rules” from different sources
👉🏼and hoping it would be enough to stabilize his labs.
But nothing ever really made sense.
Different doctors, different advice, different restrictions…
🤷🏻♀️and still no clear understanding of why his kidney function wasn’t improving.
By the time we started working together, his GFR was 44.
What stood out most wasn’t just nutrition changes, it was finally giving him clarity.
We went through his labs step by step,
understood what was driving his numbers, and translated that into a simple, individualized eating pattern.
Within weeks, his labs started to shift in a way he hadn’t seen in decades.
His GFR improved from 44 → 63 in 3 weeks, and then to 80 about a month later.
What I want you to take away isn’t just the numbers.
It’s the pattern.
Most people with CKD aren’t failing because they’re not trying hard enough.
They’re stuck following generalized advice that was never designed for their individual labs or lifestyle.
When you understand what your labs are actually telling you, and how to translate that into real food decisions…
✅that’s when things start to click.
