We apologize for the late information, but we are sad to officially announce that the Freezer Burn Fat bike Race won't be able to happen winter of 2026 due to some life and family happenings for us that have kept us from being able to give the time needed to prepare for the race. We are so grateful for the previous participants all these years and we'll keep you posted on future races at our amazing Isanti Springvale Park.

Thanks again to all of our volunteers and racers who came out to race the cold January temps! We're already looking forward to next year.

(We had two cameras going this year so hopefully we got a good pic of each racer.)

We're working on editing our photos from the race and should get them posted in the next couple of days!

It's a classic cold morning for the Freezer Burn Fatbike Race 2025 ! Can't wait to see everyone out at Springvale County Park this morning!

The course is marked and ready to go! There is plenty of snow ready to ride on our single track course.

So here are the final details of the Freezer Burn Fatbike Race tomorrow:

Registration opens at 8 am in the heated pole shed.
Line-up to start the race is at 9:45am
14 Mile (2 lap) racers start at 10am
7 Mile (1 lap) racers start at 10:10am

We always have a big fire for spectators during the race and we will have hot cocoa to keep you warm.

Cambridge Bar and Grill is donating a free drink to any racer who brings their race number in after the race! We'll be heading there to celebrate and get some amazing food.

Dress warm for the predicted single temps and windchill.

Then come and be ready to have a great race throughout the beautiful Springvale Isanti County Park!

Pre-registration closes at 11:59 tonight! Day-of registration starts at 8:30am tomorrow. Pre-registration is $50 and day of is $60. It's going to be a classic brisk morning for the Freezer Burn!

We've got an exciting new reason to race the Freezer Burn Fatbike Race!

This spring we're going to be installing a plaque stand that will list all Freezer Burn 1st place winners near the entrance to the Springvale County Park mountain bike trails. We're going to make plaques for all previous 1st place winners, and every year we'll add the new winners.
