Hi all, not sure if anyone still reads this page, but if you aren't already aware, we want to let you know that we have moved to playing Sunday mornings in **Watertown at Casey Park.** This rink has actual boards and plenty of parking, so it's a nice upgrade from the Flagg Street rink.

We try to have games every Sunday (at 9:30 am). If you would like to join the weekly email list, please send us a message. Bonus points if you're a goalie or know a goalie who wants to play! It's free hockey. Thanks!

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing crisis, CPUSH is shut down indefinitely. Hopefully this pandemic/national emergency will end soon (and as harmlessly as possible for everyone) and we can get back into it. Let's plan for one epic game when it's safe to play.

Stay safe and sane, everyone!

If you aren't aware, we've decided to move to an email distribution list for RSVPing and calling game on/off. If you haven't been getting the emails, and would like to be included, please message us with your email! And we'll add you to the weekly invitations.

Hi everyone,

Hope you've all been having a good winter. As many of you know, we haven't been playing over the past few months, and we struggled for players throughout 2018.

I would like to change that for 2019. Conditions aren't ideal during winter, but spring is just around the corner. Starting sometime in March, I plan to schedule games regularly for each Sunday (via OpenSports). I also would like to schedule a "Spring Classic" (just a big game with possibly little "skills" competitions or a mini tournament) for April, depending on interest. Hopefully, we can get CPUSH up and running for regular games throughout the year.

Anyone of any skill level is welcome to join (unless you've played at the NHL level). We do have a full set of community goalie equipment, so anyone who wants to play goalie is welcome, no experience required! Having goalies will help drive participation. If you have friends who would be interested in playing, feel free to direct them to this page or our OpenSports page at:

https://opensports.net/

If anyone has any suggestions on how to boost numbers, please let the group know. Feel free to reach out to me directly. Additionally, if anyone knows of a really good platform for organizing games, we're open to options. Thanks, and have a great 2019.

-Scott

Just as a heads up for anyone looking here, we haven't played since 4Nov2018.

11/05/2018

Yesterday we got some games in, as we got enough yes RSVPs for the first time in a while. Good weather for hockey!

09/19/2018

As of 19Sep2018, I've stopped creating events and sending invites via OpenSports, the app and website that we organize our games through, as it's been a while since we've had enough yes RSVPs to play. I've updated the settings on OpenSports so that anyone who joins the group can create events and invite the entire group to events. Also, anyone in the group should be able to see the full member list.
