Some stress is good and must be worked through in order to gain strength! It's obviously something less than "over doing" a lift, and yet, it's a hard push that gets the adaptations we need to stay healthy and strong with every year that passes.

How Microtears Help You to Build Muscle Mass You have to break muscle down to build it back up stronger. If done correctly, microtears sustained from exercise will accumulate to form muscle mass.

Milestone -- Achieve spin class with strong heart rate, high wattage, and a soaked ponytail. This after at least 5 physical therapy visits and 10 weeks (73 days) since my initial injury to the left knee. Progress!!

Patio training, similar to what I've done for years in parks, has been a real joy during the pandemic. It's been very nice to train under the maple tree and grape arbor with blue skies overhead.

All without masks once my trainees completed their vaccinations!
