Hello everyone. It has been some time this past year and since my last post. Just looking through my pics to put an update together and I got nothing - but Work. However, I am truly blessed with good health, family and the opportunity to provide. The Armadillo has not been setup since our youth group used it for camp- in our shop. I hope and pray we can get out and explore soon. I am including some pics of a couple good fishing trips with my dad, son in law and a good friend. A really good aerial of this awesome piece of earth God has blessed myself and family with and a friggin awesome burr oak tree in mcbain, missouri. That's all I got for now. Thank you all for staying tuned in. Stay well and may God Bless the USA!

Ok, how about a little review? Been wanting to give back for awhile and fortunately/ unfortunately never have cellular service where I go.
1.Verizon hotspot- may be helping us out here at mother natures riverfront retreat, has not helped anywhere else - as far as camping
2. Mother Natures Riverfront Retreat - So friggin beautiful here. Highly recommended! $10 a night - way too cheap if you ask me - just sayin!
3. Tony Cacheres' Cajun Seasoning Pros- this stuff will blow your friggin mind. Good on anything from Dawn til Dusk! A few$. Cons - None!
4. Kingsford Travel size grill - super handy as it fits under my fridge for storage and I can store 2 days worth of charcoal (for 2 people) in it. Cooks really good, $25. Cons - plastic handles (will replace with wood)
5. Bill's camp shower/ kitchen / truck wash / wife sprayer. Pros - Cheap and simple, $20 Cons- none!
6. Camp Chef outdoor oven/ cooktop. Pros - conveniently stored inside for storage, works perfectly for keeping the mess outside, Cheap $125 used. Cons - none!
7. Nathan's Kosher dill pickles. Pros - crispy, crunchy, fresh (I guess), flavorful, will literally make your tongue slap your brains out, a few $. Cons - none!
8. Next time we will have a look at what is in my drawers! Can't wait to show you!

So- I was complaining here a few weeks ago about the crap weather on the weekends here in central missouri.
Well - I am happy to inform everyone it has been absolutely beautiful (on the weekends) since then. 1st trip fiery fork conservation area on the little niangua river, 2nd trip mark twain lake in florida, missouri. 3rd and 4th trip at Bill and Mary Jo's on the lake of the ozarks. My wife and I are now at mother natures riverfront retreat on the big niangua river.
Waters a little high though, trying to muster up the courage to get on the river.
What a beautiful spot we have here on the river.
I find myself really looking forward to the weekends again spending time with family, friends and nature.

Turns out- I really love creating things. Not so good at marketing though.
Did get a good camp in last weekend with some really good friends and their family.
After the weekend I took 2 pics and of course no cell or wifi where I'm at.
However - It is so nice to unplug from everything going on and just enjoy God's creation and the company of others.
I would like to encourage us all to do so and quit letting the media fuel our anxiety.
May we All Look to God - So He Can Bless America!

Good morning everyone. Pulled into camp at 5:30 pm last night, within 30 minutes completely setup. Enjoying some time with family and friends this weekend. A big Thank You to Bill and Mary Jo for letting us use their beautiful point property on The Lake of the Ozarks.
Waking up to camp coffee around a campfire with birds chirping never gets old.
This Memorial day I pray we will all reflect on and remember those who have passed before us making the ultimate sacrifice for family and our country.
Make sure you let others know you Love them.
Have a great weekend!

Well that was a nice trip. In 28 hours we left home - went to Florida and spent the night, got to try out my table that doubles as my sink cabinet cover, went to Paris then through Mexico and on the way home got to spend a little time with the Elliot kids playing in the mud.
Stay tuned - I'm looking forward to the next several weeks spending a little time one on one with my family checking out the beautiful state of Missouri.

Well - Florida, Missouri that is. Figured we would come up and check out the state park on Mark Twain lake. Guess what? Apparently it is hazardous to your health to camp nowadays due to covid 19. No Camping - WTH. Thankfully we ran into a really nice couple Bob and Mary and they let us setup on their beautiful property.
Had a fine meal, playing some cards and looking forward to a good nights rest.
