First-Inning Spurt Lead Lakers 12U Past Swing Kings 12U

Lakers 12U defeated Swing Kings 12U 15-0 on Saturday thanks in part to 14 runs in the first inning. a dropped third strike scored one run, Bennett S singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Ethan T singled, scoring one run, Tanner W singled, scoring one run, Jaxon D singled, scoring one run, Jaxon P doubled, scoring one run, Grant M laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, Jace E singled, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, Bennett S doubled, scoring one run, and Ethan T singled, scoring one run.

Lakers 12U added one run in the second after Weston H singled down the left field line.

Tanner W earned the win for Lakers 12U. The right-handed pitcher allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking none. Joey B took the loss for Swing Kings 12U. The starter went one inning, giving up 15 runs (seven earned) on 12 hits, striking out two and walking two.

Lakers 12U accumulated 12 hits in the game. Tanner W, Bennett S, and Ethan T each collected two hits for Lakers 12U. Bennett S and Ethan T each drove in two runs for Lakers 12U. Carson U and Weston H each stole multiple bases for Lakers 12U. Lakers 12U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jace E made the most plays with five.

2nd Game of the day - Lakers 12U Triumph Over KC Futures 12U

Lakers 12U outsted KC Futures 12U 4-3 on Sunday.

An error put KC Futures 12U on the board in the top of the first.

Lakers 12U took the lead in the bottom of the first. An error scored two runs, to give Lakers 12U the lead, 2-1.

Cooper W grounded into a double play, which helped KC Futures 12U tie the game at two in the top of the second.

A passed ball gave Lakers 12U the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second.

A passed ball extended the Lakers 12U lead to 4-2 in the bottom of the third inning.

Bennett S earned the win for Lakers 12U. The starter allowed three hits and three runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out six and walking two. Lane K took the loss for KC Futures 12U. The starter went three innings, allowing four runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out seven and walking five.

Jeffrey G, Bennett S, and Weston H each collected one hit for Lakers 12U. Grant M stole two bases. Lakers 12U ran wild on the base paths, collecting eight stolen bases for the game. Lakers 12U turned one double play in the game.

Mason S, Colton S, and Daxton C each collected one hit for KC Futures 12U.

Lakers 12U will travel to USA Prime Mavericks - Marsala 11U for their next game on Sunday.

Lakers 12U scored seven runs in the first inning, which helped them defeat Driving Force Baseball Hunter 12U 11-2 on Sunday. Bennett S tripled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Ethan T grounded out, scoring one run, Jeffrey G drew a walk, scoring one run, Grant M singled, scoring one run, and River D induced Carson U to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.

Lakers 12U added one run in the second. Weston H grounded out, making the score 8-0.

Lakers 12U added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ethan T doubled down the right field line, Khal balked, and Driving Force Baseball Hunter 12U committed an error, each scoring one run.

Spencer S earned the win for Lakers 12U. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and two runs (zero earned) over four innings, striking out seven and walking none. River D took the loss for Driving Force Baseball Hunter 12U. The hurler went one inning, allowing seven runs (six earned) on three hits, striking out none and walking three.

Ethan T led Lakers 12U with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Bennett S went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Lakers 12U in hits. Maverick A paced Lakers 12U with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Jeffrey G and Maverick A each stole multiple bases for Lakers 12U. Lakers 12U ran wild on the base paths, accumulating 10 stolen bases for the game.

River D, Avery H, and Hudson each collected one hit for Driving Force Baseball Hunter 12U. Hudson went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
