Troy's California Trail Runs

Our mission is to provide some of the most scenic, challenging, and fun runs in CA. We want to provide an environment that is both safe and enjoyable!

We want to provide an environment that is both safe and enjoyable. We are a patriotic and green company. We believe in a clean environment and want all of our participants to be responsible when it comes to keeping all of our trails pristine and lite

r free. We are a family oriented organization. Our races are set up for every age group. Some of the races will be designed only for adults and others we would like to have just for children. However, everyone is invited to participate. We will have races for beginners, intermediate runners and finally the hard core advanced Ultra-Runner. We will have different distances from 5k to 100 miles. Pre-Registered runners will receive a shirt with the TCTR logo and the name of the race in which they participate. Each course will be planned and well-marked to keep runners on course. Aid stations will always be provided in necessary locations.

Folsom Lake Southside Trail Run is happening on Saturday, March 14th, in Folsom, CA, and we will be offering race day registration as well. We hope you can join us for this race.

With 95% single-track trail and just 5% dirt road, the course delivers an unforgettable trail experience — from smooth, flowy sections to fun, technical challenges that every runner will love.

Whether you’re an ultra runner, a seasoned competitor, a casual trail lover, or bringing the kids for their first race, this is a truly family-friendly event designed for all ages and ability levels. Come to compete, come to explore, or simply come to enjoy the trail — our team will be there every step of the way to help you reach your goals and make it a fun-filled, unforgettable day.

We also welcome anyone looking to get involved — we’re always in need of additional volunteers and support to help launch another incredible trail running year and make this event a success for everyone.
