🐴 HORSE OF THE WEEK: CHICO! 🐴

Meet Chico! This handsome little guy is an 8-year-old pony with a big personality and an even bigger place in our hearts. ❤️

We aren’t exactly sure what breed Chico is, but we have a pretty good feeling he may be a Pony of the Americas… either way, we know one thing for sure—he’s CUTE! 😂

Chico is goofy, incredibly friendly, and absolutely loves attention. And if there’s a hat nearby, you can bet Chico is willing to wear it. 🤠🎩

Chico has a pretty special story here at Misty Ridge. We adopted him from an auction, and he was the very first horse we purchased after taking over the farm. He quickly became a favorite, and Wember affectionately refers to him as his “son.” 😂❤️

From auction pony to one of the most loved faces at the farm, Chico has definitely found his people—and we’re so glad he’s part of the Misty Ridge family! 🐴💚

That’s a wrap on Rodeo Camp! 🤠❤️

This week was full of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Our campers learned showmanship, decorated their own cowboy hats, hit the trails on horseback, helped with real barn chores, and even camped out under the stars. 🌟🐴

There’s something so special about watching kids build confidence, make new friends, and experience life on the farm. These are the kinds of memories that last a lifetime, and we feel incredibly grateful to be able to provide experiences like these.

Thank you to all of our amazing campers, instructors, and families for another incredible Rodeo Camp. We hope you had as much fun as we did! ❤️

🐴 Our Littles Academy is back this fall! 🍂

Do you have a horse-loving kiddo between the ages of 4-9? Our 12-week Littles Academy is the perfect way to build confidence, learn horsemanship, and have fun in a safe, encouraging environment!

🕔 5:00–6:30 PM
📍 August 4 – October 20

Throughout the program, riders will learn:
🐎 Horse safety and handling
🪮 Grooming and tacking
🏇 Riding skills
💛 Confidence, responsibility, and teamwork

No previous horse experience is required- we love welcoming first-time riders!

Spaces are limited and tend to fill quickly, so be sure to reserve your child’s spot today. We can’t wait to welcome a new group of young horse enthusiasts to Misty Ridge Farm this fall! 🍁

What a great week to wrap up our third and final Pony Camp of the summer! 💚🐴

These campers spent the week riding, learning horse care, making new friends, getting creative with crafts, and making memories that will last long after summer ends. We loved watching their confidence grow each day!

A huge thank you to all of our campers, instructors, and families for making this summer’s Pony Camps so special. We can’t wait to see many of you back at the farm soon!

Next up… 🤠 Rodeo Camp kicks off next week, and we’re ready for one more week of horse-filled fun to finish out an amazing camp season!
