STORY TIME:

Recently Dr. McMurray attended a workshop in Big Sur, CA at Esalen Institute.

During the workshop, Dr. McMurray was paired with the woman on his right who happens to be a chemical engineer, He noticed she couldn’t move her right shoulder freely, and asked her what was wrong with it. She shared she had a mountain bike crash and developed the right shoulder problem since. She had been under therapy for 4 months, and recently had injections into her shoulder for relief. He asked her if he can take a look and after examining her, found a problem with her upper neck. He gave her one adjustment to her upper cervical spine, and cleared her frozen shoulder immediately. His point was that it was a neck problem expressing itself in her right shoulder.

The woman on his left is a yoga instructor in Washington, D.C. After she witnessed the results with the patient mentioned above, she hurt her back in that same class and had difficulty walking. She asked if Dr. McMurray was able to examine her, too, and after an evaluation and treatment, she was able to walk and return home with minimal to no pain.

Moral of the story:
If you or you know of someone who is suffering with a frozen shoulder or low back pain, please refer them in for an evaluation. Chiropractic adjustments can help clear a lot of physical disturbances in a matter of time.

Dr. McMurray is an instructor for Activator methods. He teaches Doctors how to treat extremity conditions that include but not limited to; Foot, Ankle, Knee, Hip, Hand, Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder conditions. He is also treats TMJ conditions. In our office the patient is our greatest concern! We provide reports to each patient on the diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis. We have the latest in digital X-ray on-site.
