Lets talk patches! something really fun to do is adding patches to jackets and bags, so I tried out turning our Small Poppies, and Butterfly patterns into a couple of applique patches! simple and fun you just stitch them on to some felt or interfacing then you can attach them to whatever you want like!

This is probably going to become a staple on this page is 18th century pockets. They were a pouch tied around the waist and accessed in slits in the sides of dresses. Many historical costumers have started to begin using them for everyday use, myself included!
They're quick, easy to make, and can store: 1 long wallet, a phone, a juice box, and a handful of folded papers! (with room to spare) And best of all customizable! Here's two of the pockets I've made so far using 20 Kitten silhouettes and the Square pattern!

I think my favorite thing about quilting and applique is how versatile everything is! Sometimes we can't commit to making an entire quilt, but a beautiful flannel pillow case is within reach. We bring you: Celtic Knot 1!
This one was a request from a long time back - and it sure was a doozy to create! The knots are finicky with how all the pieces fit together when the pattern is being created so it took longer than most patterns take. I am considering doing more to create a series of knots.
Enjoy!

It's been a long time since 2003 when this all started with Auntie Net. A previous donation from a quilter had prompted a splurge on bringing the site into the 21st century, but we have currently hit the limit of what our site builder can do.
Currently working on moving to a solution that supports the needs of the site better, and luckily found a company that can help with the migration to avoid downtime. More details to come as it progresses...
If you've been liking our patterns and want to support us, we do now have a Patreon page as well! Love you all!

I've always loved flowy fabrics (and was heartbroken when I learned they're a little harder to sew with than straight cotton...). Margaret, the second twin sister is partial to wool. She can tell by the touch whether it's the real deal or not! What's your fav fabric type?
