It was wonderful to see Coach Carmine Carpenito reunited with Dario Remondini in the last two weeks at AFM camp.
The two shared many years together with the Italian National Team, traveling the world, coaching, training, and experiencing some unforgettable international competitions. Those memories and friendships last a lifetime.

We are happy and honored to welcome Monika Sozanska to the AFM coaching team!
Monika is an Olympian, a longtime member of the German National Team, and one of the top épée fencers of her generation. She represented Germany at the 2012 Olympic Games, won an individual European Championship bronze medal, earned multiple World Championship team medals, and stood on the podium at numerous World Cup and Grand Prix events throughout her international career.
Most importantly, she brings incredible experience, passion, and love for the sport. We are excited for our fencers to learn from an athlete and coach who has competed at the very highest level of fencing.

🏅 June SJCC Las Vegas – Junior Women's Épée - Jessica Xu finished 14th!!!
We are so incredibly proud of Jessica Xu for her outstanding fencing in the Junior Women's Épée event!
Jessica works tremendously hard every day — in classes, private lessons, and competitions. She brings dedication, determination, and heart to everything she does, and it is wonderful to see that hard work translating into success on the strip.

Just last week, Jessica was honored with the AFM Fencer of the Year Award in Y14 Women's Épée at our End of the Season Party, and she continues to show why she earned this special recognition.

Congratulations to Jessica, her family, and her coaches — Coach Jean-Michel Lucenay, Coach Carmine Carpenito, and the entire AFM coaching team. Thank you for your guidance, support, and belief in our athletes every step of the way.
