The youngest golfer to win the Masters is Tiger Woods, who was 21 years old when he won his first green jacket in 1997 by a record-setting 12-stroke margin, a feat that still stands as the youngest victory in the tournament's history.

Our purpose with this golf memorial is to support the dreams of those children that want to play this sport. I never even dreamed of golfing when I was young. I picked up this sport because Oliver loved playing with his Dad. So, I get to foster this love for him. It is a sport that can carry him throughout his life.

We wouldn't be able to do any of this without all of your support. While it will be a while before we can get out on the greens, please be on the lookout for future announcements concerning the 2nd Annual Marco Memorial Golf Outing.

Oliver asked me if Mr. Andy (Lyon's Den Golf Course) would let him look for golf balls in the water tomorrow if we have a snow day. I guess that he is ready to hit the links. 😂

Are any of you ready to get out on the greens? Do you have any goals for this year? My goal is to actually stay out of the water on the 11th hole. I seem to be destined to donate a ball there.

We are only around 170 something days until the 2nd Annual Marco Memorial Golf Outing. We are looking forward to seeing you out on the course.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Michael, you know that he hated having his picture taken. This was the very last picture that I took of him on this day last year. We were talking and I snapped this while he was rubbing Bert's ear. He sure loved that dog.

Next week, Thanksgiving Day will be here. I'm thankful that I captured this simple moment as they are both gone now.

It has been 11 months since I last got to laugh and talk with Michael. He truly loved his family and friends. In this month of gratitude, I'm thankful for that last day. I'm thankful that he spent the afternoon in the hot tub with Oliver. They had some.guy time while I made dinner. I'm so glad that they did.

I'm thankful for the love that he showed to all of us in small ways. Michael made sure to have extra food in his lunch for guys that didn't have any. He always cared for the underdog. Michael was a protector at heart.

In this month of giving and gratitude, I ask that you help those who need it. Whether it's buying a meal for someone who can't afford it or even giving a random stranger a compliment. This is what Michael would do.

I received a lovely thank you card from the Jackson High School Boys Golf Team, and it truly meant a lot. I wanted to share their first names with all of you, because without your support this outing would have just stayed a crazy idea that came to me one night.
