The 4th Annual John A. Moman(JAM) Memorial Golf Classic will be held August 29, 2021 at Westchester Golf Course 6300 Bent Grass Blvd in Canal Wi******er, Ohio. This 4 person team Best Ball Scramble with Shotgun Start at 9am, registration begins at 730 am.
Proceeds benefit the efforts of Walking In My Blessings, who's mission is to raise awareness about mental health amongst African American Males and provide a safe space to speak openly and honestly about the stress & trauma we face. We do this with free haircut events, mental health talks, our Backpacks and Belts Initiative along with events like this the John A. Moman Memorial Golf Classic.
Our Backpacks and Belts Back to School Initiative provides backpacks to young men entering the 2021-2022 school year. Backpacks will contain school supplies, basic hygiene products and a belt, to encourage them to pull up their pants. The young men will also receive a free haircut during our backpack distribution event to be held September 5, 2021.
We must invest in our future and provide them with tools for success, if we expect them to succeed.
Registration fee is $100 per golfer($400 per team) which includes greens fee, cart, lunch & gift bags following the event during awards presentation, acknowledgments and raffle.
