Kick off the Fall 2026 Athletics and Performing Arts season at our annual Community Pep Rally tomorrow, Tuesday, August 11, at Mike Locke Stadium at Canal Wi******er High School!
Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the pep rally begins at 7:30 p.m. We are keeping an eye on the forecast and will communicate any changes.
Because of our facilities project, parking at CWHS is limited. Please be mindful of the neighborhoods nearby and follow all local parking rules.
Games, activities, giveaways, and food trucks will all be available for an evening of fun - hope to see you there!

An update as of 9:30pm:

THE RACE IS ON!!!

The 5K will start at 7:30 AM followed by the girls 1-mile at 8:30, AM and the boys
1-mile at 8:50 AM. Important information below:

➡️ Same day shirt pickup and check-ins start at 6:30am. at Canal Wi******er High School.

➡️All 5k runners will check in at the tent that is located just inside the stadium gates to get your bib and t-shirt. Race starts at 7:30 AM. The 5k will start and finish on the track. All 5k finishers will receive a race medal at the finish line.

➡️ Grasshoppers AND 1-Mile fun run participants will check in to the right of the football stadium entrance. Please look for the 1-Mile Check-in sign. The Girls 1-mile race is at 8:30 AM followed by the boys at 8:50 AM. Both races will start and finish on the track. 

Finisher awards from CRC for the top 3 overall 5K runners (male and female) and the top male and female for age brackets will immediately follow the conclusion of the 5K.

We are just 6 days away from the Dr. Bender 5k Classic!

➡️ EARLY PACKET PICKUP is this Thursday, July 16th from 5:30pm-7:00pm at Canal Wi******er High School. This is ONLY for 5K participants (in-person AND virtual) and the NON-GRASSHOPPER CLUB youth running the 1-mile Fun Run. The picture will help you locate where we will be. Shirts and race bibs can also be picked up on Saturday morning starting at 6:30 am. Grasshoppers will pickup their race t-shirts ONLY ON SATURDAY. More details about that will come from your coaches.

Next Saturday is the Dr. Bender 5k Classic!
