Over the weekend we were honored to host a Young Professionals event for the Canal Wi******er Chamber and couldn’t have asked for a better night of connections and fitness.

⭐️April Athlete of the Month: Asia⭐️

Some of the biggest wins in the gym don’t start as wins at all…

When Asia first started, box jumps were intimidating.
We’re talking a small box—around a foot or less—and a lot of hesitation.

Fast forward a few years…
She’s now hitting 20” box jumps like it’s nothing.

That’s what consistency looks like.

Asia didn’t just join Lock 22 because it was close to home (her words, not ours 😅)…
She came in looking for something that would push her—and found a community and coaches that helped her do exactly that.

Outside the gym?
She’s got some of the most unique hobbies in the community:

🛹 Collects Tech Decks
🖨️ Into 3D printing
👟 And casually owns…100+ pairs of sneakers

(Yeah…we’re gonna need a sneaker tour soon 👀)

One thing she’s learned along the way:

A lot of people think CrossFit leads to injury—but that usually comes from people who’ve never actually tried it.

With the right coaching and focusing on the basics, everything is scalable—and built around YOU.

Favorite movement? Power Sn**ch 💪
Least favorite? The Echo Bike…
