Fall Youth Bowling is just around the corner!

It's that time of year again for our Saturday youth leagues to start. We have leagues from Bumper leagues for the 5 and under age group right up thru high school. You can not be 18 on August 1 to join.

You ask, "why should I have my kids bowl?" There are many benefits to youth bowling including earning scholarship money for college, coaching by trained, certified coaches and periodic bowling clinics to get extra practice.

Trying to make your high school bowling team? This is a great way to improve your skills.

Bowling is also a sport you can do your entire life. We have some adult league bowlers over 80 years old!

An Inspiring Bowling Moment!
This morning we had the pleasure of hosting the Lilac alongside a wonderful event, the NYFTY Tournament. For those unfamiliar, this is the New York Female Tournament For Youth, and the brainchild of Sadie Erb. This tournament, along with all those working the event, were nothing short of spectacular. The competition consists of Collegiate, Scratch and Handicap Singles for youth under 18 years of age featuring separate divisions based on average. This was their practice session prior to competition.

As someone affiliated with bowling for decades, it was a wonderful sight to behold and made me proud of the bowling industry and the future these young ladies are attributing to it. Congratulations to all the participants, the winners, and the Erb family for a job well done!
