A “Thank You” for the past two weekends!

One of the best aspects of the Lilac are the friends we have made over the years. A lot of work is involved in running our tournament, but it becomes a joy when visited by the many groups that come year after year. We have had a lot of fun the past two weekends, shared a lot of laughs and hugs due to the following group leaders and their bowlers.

The weekend of June 5-7 we were honored to have the groups put together by Bob “The Librarian” Danylyk, George Austin, Ed Carter, Kimberly Johnson, Matt Militello, Mathew McCarthy, Tom “Twitter” Clukay, Bob Petrillo, Pat “Sweet Tooth” Charlebois, Kelly Cooper along with Ron Traver and a very nice new group of bowlers with Natlene Walters.

This past weekend we were very busy thanks to the bowlers put together by our long time group leaders Loretta Bellamy, Caroline Ellis, Danny D**g, AJ Ramsey, Al Williams, Mike Drazdzinski, Jennifer Dunkin-Dorazio, Rosalyn “I’m bowling again!” Stringfellow, George Pierce and the always smiling Michelle Layton-Brown.
A heartfelt “Thank You” to all of you, your bowlers and the many local area teams that have always continued to support us. Our Lilac bowlers are simply the best!

Standings notice at the end!

Been a busy couple of weeks with things so I am a little behind in “Thank You’s” to the wonderful individuals that bring their groups here to Roseland Bowl. Our Thanks to Lorraine Bailey, Rich Bronner, Ron Kratzner and Jeanetta Boyce that were here the weekend of May 15-17th. A special Thank You to Marquilla James and her bowlers that traveled here from Florida for their first visit to the Lilac. We enjoyed meeting you all and will always welcome you with open arms.

This past weekend our group leaders featured Gary Dent and our neighboring Buffalo bowlers, Chris Kobayashi-Reid, Dave Sitar with the most fashionable sunglasses ever worn inside, and our friends with Wayne Blakely. A fun two weekends for all!

Just a note as I posted standings as of the 28th and afterward notice quite a few inaccuracies, S I have pulled them down for now. These were not issues with the actual scores, but with what was transferred into the standings. It’s a troublesome process and I have corrected the issue as will be reflected when I post standings this week. Redoing all 20+ events on Sunday afternoon seemed pointless and all will be rectified this week. Stay tuned and thank you for your understanding! -Ray- (Chris and Bonnie as well, but the standings were my Boo-boo!)
