Celebration week was a success !!
Thank you to everyone who came, we hope you all had so much fun. Be ready for our belt ceremony coming next week!
At Excel Taekwondo, we offer a safe and encouraging space for students of all ages. Our classes are fun, energetic, and educational.
The focus of our martial arts school is on physical fitness, character development, and self-defense, rather than fighting. We foster a welcoming environment for all of our students, while they learn self-discipline, develop confidence, and improve their listening and focusing skills. When you become a student, you join a community that works together toward improved physical strength and stamina,

🥋 2026 USAT American Open West — Team Recap
A little late sharing this, but it’s too good not to celebrate.
🥇 Ethan Skinta — GOLD on June 14th. Three matches, three wins, Nationals qualified. Ethan competed without his original coach or sparring teammates, with only one teammate there to cheer him on and his father trusting him to experience the moment on his own. Taekwondo’s tenets are tested most when conditions aren’t perfect — that’s perseverance in action. Credit to Ms. Ditan for the training that built this foundation.
Two of our instructor-athletes competed too:
Mr. Santiago Sandejas competed June 13th and secured his qualification for Nationals.
Ms. Eleni Marcelino competed in both pairs and individual sport poomsae, fighting through to the round of 8 in individual before falling in the medal round.

Teach your child that the only thing worth admiring is character. Because achievement without integrity is hollow.
It's easy to get caught up in appearances — the grades, the schools, the milestones, the image of success. Sure, achievement is impressive. But without a moral compass, it loses its way.
What endures is kindness. Humility.
The ability to see others as equals.
Raise them to lead with heart, not hierarchy. To measure worth not by what they have, but by who they are — even when no one's watching.
Because in the end, what truly stands out isn't just what they achieve. It’s the kind of energy they leave behind wherever they go.
That is what makes a person truly admirable. ❤️

MOM — Our first teacher and loudest cheerleader. To all the moms who drove to every class, cheered at every board break, and believed before we did — thank you! We earned our black belts yesterday, but you laid the foundation. Happy Mother’s Day. 🖤🥋
Excel. Lead. Give.
